The popular Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment gives students the opportunity to join the growing electronic games industry, or other areas of business and the arts, by acquiring expertise in game development and other forms of interactive media. In fact, our industry links and work placements provide many of our students with jobs before they even graduate.

The course offers diversity to suit your interests, with majors in Animation, Digital Media, Game Design, and Software Technologies. A strong foundation in both entertainment technology and creative skills is complemented with options in games programming including graphics programming and game artificial intelligence. The Bachelor of Games and Interactive Entertainment can also be taken as a double degree with a second QUT degree in Business, Applied Science, Corporate Systems Management or Mathematics. The Faculty also offers computer games studies as minors or electives within other QUT degrees, including Information Technology.
